Meet the Black African Queens Who Paved the Way for Nonconformist Liturgical Dance Today. #THREE
In November of 2008, Pamela was licensed as a Minister of the Gospel under the leadership of the late Rev. Eugene Wilson and Dr. Rev. Marion E. Criddle. God has anointed her for such a time as this, and most of all, she loves the Lord with all her heart and soul.
She and her husband are the former directors of the Mount Calvary International Church Worship Arts Ministry, as well as the current directors of the Global Missions department there, which is under the leadership of Apostle Terry & Elect Lady Cassandra Gullage.
She has been involved in the ministry of dance since the year 2000, and throughout the years up until now, God has used her to minister in dance as well as a national and international speaker. She previously conducted free summer Arts Camps for children in her community and other states. The camps consisted of classes in dance, wood carving, etiquette, drawing, cooking, sewing, drama, mime, flags, silk painting, sports, and more. During these camps, the children could go on field trips and be motivated by talks from successful community leaders and speakers.
Pamela is very involved in her community, and because of her involvement, in 2003, her local parish honored her as a Trail Blazer.
In 2013 Pamela started an outreach dance ministry called "Sweet Fragrance. This ministry aims to evangelize by way of movement. The purpose of this ministry is to bring the Living Water to the Desert, which is outside the four walls of the church, to such venues as Nursing Homes, Festivals, Mission Shelters, and platforms such as The House of Blues, etc.
Also, in November 2013, Pamela enrolled in a 12-month book writing course through the Eagles International Authors Institute. She successfully graduated in October 2014 and became a published author. Her book is called S.E.E.D., a book of enlightenment and encouragement to the Disciple of Christ. Even though it was written from the viewpoint of the lessons she learned during her journey as a dance leader, every disciple can benefit from reading it. Later in 2013, The Master's Touch Creations L.L.C. Garments & Instruments partnered with the Asian Christian Faith Global Ministry Power Club Kids of Cagayan de Oro, Philippines. Together with family and friends, we provided 505 pairs of Flips Flop Slippers for children in various villages.
In 2014 & 2015, God challenged her to enlarge her territory; Pamela was given the vision to build The Master's Touch Creations Tailoring School & Design Center in Kenya, East Africa. We also partnered with a pastor and wife team in Karinagar, India, to open one in that nation. Also in 2015, Pamela was featured in Boomers Lifestyle Magazine ~ Editor Sinder Coleman Miller. This article highlighted her business and how it was started to provide financial support to the nations and their mission efforts.
Then in 2016, God again challenged her to stretch her faith by building a church in Nepal. Since then, Pamela's company, The Master's Touch Garments & Instruments, has partnered with other ministries to help provide funding for Feeding Projects, Widow Projects, Education Tuition, Pastor and Leadership Training, and more.
In 2018 Pamela enrolled and was certified in a program called Moving Through The Scriptures led by the Mid-Wife herself, Rekesha Pittman. In 2019, She received an award from Calvary Commission India under the leadership of founder Dr. I. Benjamin, Director Mrs. Yashoda Benjamin, and Assistant Director Rev. B Deva Dattam. This award was for faithful service and dedication in reaching out to the people on the highways and the byways of India.
In 2020 Pamela and her husband were honored by her local church. They were given the MCI Kingdom Partners In Team.
In March 2020, as the Nations' borders were threatening to close because of Covid 19, Pamela, along with her Abundant Life Crusade Mission Team, was again on the mission fields of East Africa. And again, God showed Himself mightily by keeping the team members covered and protected.
During recovery efforts after Hurricane Ida in 2021, Pamela served on the team in her community, providing meals for affected people. After Covid 19 forced the entire world to think differently about how they communicated, Pamela and the Abundant Life Crusade Team initiated an online monthly India Pastors training fellowship which is still in effect. This fellowship has expanded to two separate areas of India. In 2023, Pamela was involved with some mission efforts in the Dominican Republic. Currently, to date, Pamela has teamed up with Zoe Association International of Los Angeles, California, under the leadership of Bishop Ed Smith and Apostle Sherry Traylor. Together they are preparing to go on the mission fields to the nation of Costa Rica in September of 2023. Pamela's favorite all-time enjoyments are fishing, traveling, designing, and spending time with family and friends. She also loves being a mommy to her little fur baby, Cashmere, aka "Cash." Most of all, Pamela loves serving in the Kingdom of God alongside her husband.
